The Gernsbeck (Command) can now call in backup with Friday, the Gernsbeck (Sniper) has a new ranged finisher, and the Falke has a new melee finisher - based on their pilots' of the Fairy Eyes. Since Mao and Kurz can't do Urd Strike anymore, each of them gain a new attack. It's also fitting that Fairy Eyes can work on Absolute Terror Fields and Psychoframe Fields too, since they also run on willpower. Normally this active system can't be used with standard issue Mithril ECS camo, but because of the way this game implements ECS, there's no problems having both abilities in this continuity.

This system can be easily added on to any existing sensor suite with no upgrades to powerplant required, a soft counter to Amalgam Lambda Drivers whose protection depends on how distracted the pilot is. The "Fairy Eye"'s blueprints were given to Chidori by that voice in her head, finally giving Chidori a major contribution to Mithril - as opposed to just helping Sosuke fight and survive. Might be worth it to see how some bosses react to being attacked by a joke character tho. I can still switch Sosuke to Bonta-Kun, although this isn't SRWJ and W where Sosuke remains with the Arbalest anymore there'll be a significant drop in base damage compared to the Laevatein from this point in the game forwards.
The range 7 Demolition Gun even has a MAP version.

With the Lambda Driver active at all times, this unit can lug around a 165mm Demolition Gun (an artillery piece) as if it were an assault rifle, the unit's second best weapon before Lambda Strike proper.
It should have better Kinetic Shields too the Arbalest's one didn't seem to be able to block much, if anything at all.

In return, the unit mounts an Improved Lambda Driver (.shows up as a redundant "Lambda Driver" entry) which is active from 100 Focus just like the ones Amalgam have - very useful considering that it inherits the 5 dots of upgrade I gave the Arbalest earlier, the Laevatein-I getting a larger damage boost as Sosuke gains Focus. First off, Sosuke receives the ARX-8 Laevatein to replace the Arbalest - meaning Team UC has already met Leonard Testarossa in battle, and we're now in the slightly tweaked events of Come Make My Day.ĭesigned by Al to Sosuke's battle data with the help of Mira Kudan (the girl that was rescued in the very first episode of the FMP TV series, later revealed to be a Whispered), this AS is so advanced that you can't do the Urd Strike combination attack with it as even a 3rd Gen AS can't keep up no big deal since a lot of things do more damage than Urd Strike by now anyway. A couple of Full Metal Panic proto-Invisible Victory specific events have occured in the meantime.
